ABOUT / THE MYLA DIFFERENCE

I am not simply an auctioneer. That is the point.

I bring more than two decades of nonprofit, higher education, and executive leadership experience to fundraising events. I have led organizations, worked alongside boards and development teams, carried budgets, coached leaders, facilitated hard conversations, and stood on stage when the room needed to move.

EXPERIENCE THAT CHANGES THE MOMENT

My background changes what I see.

Executive Leader

I understand the pressure of goals, budgets, boards, and organizational credibility.

Strategist

I see how the program, story, audience, and ask need to work together.

Coach + Facilitator

I help bring clarity, confidence, and emotional truth to the room.

Fundraiser + Auctioneer

I know how to read the energy in real time and lead people toward action.

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS TO ME

The work is not abstract.

The organizations I am drawn to serve are often working on issues that reflect communities, challenges, and experiences that have shaped my own life. That perspective informs how I listen, how I help teams tell their stories, and how I connect an audience to the real stakes behind a fundraising ask.

THE MYLA DIFFERENCE

Why the experience feels different.

  • I understand nonprofit organizations because I have led them.

  • I focus on the fundraising experience, not just the fundraising appeal.

  • I help organizations prepare the audience before the ask begins.

  • I meet each team where it is, from event-night leadership to deeper strategic partnership.

  • I bring the strategic perspective of an executive leader and the presence of an experienced auctioneer.

  • I know how to read a room, respond in real time, and keep the energy connected to the mission.

If you need someone who understands the stakes before stepping on stage, let’s talk.
